Shared Spaces for Fostering Community:


University Alliance Ruhr is an international strategic partner of the University of Cincinnati, comprising a consortium of three universities located in the Ruhr region: TU Dortmund University, Ruhr University Bochum, and the University of Duisburg-Essen. In a testament to our shared vision and commitment as universities deeply embedded within our respective communities, the University of Cincinnati and TU Dortmund University join forces with a multidisciplinary approach for the proposed Garden(s) of Refuge project. This initiative epitomizes our dedication to actively engaging with and contributing to our communities, while also solidifying the Dortmund-Cincinnati corridor as a bridge connecting our two regions.

This project not only emphasizes our responsibility to transatlantic cooperation but also serves as a shared space dedicated to fostering a sense of community and support for students, scholars, and individuals from around the world.
